- Usually, travellers visit Chamba during their stay at Dalhousie which is about 55 kms away from Dalhousie. For Dalhousie, here’s the itinerary that you can refer to.
- Chamba is a small town, so walking around is the best option, unless you opt for excursions.
- There are many temples in this pretty town in addition to the ones mentioned in this blog. As per your interest and time in hand, either you can visit them all or few of them. In the event monuments interests you, visit Rang Mahal, one of the largest monuments in Chamba.
- If time permits, visit and Kalatop Khajjiar Wildlife Sanctuary (36 km away).
- If you happen to be in Chamba during July-August, attend “Minjar Mela” a 7-day festival which is a thanksgiving ceremony to the god of rain.
- The town has several eating joints some of them are Crystal restaurants, Cafe Ravi View, Jatt Dhaba and Moti Bhojnalay.
